Hillsdale High School Sustainability Project
On
On 10/12/2021, 3 teams working on this project met with our partner and we were discovering the high school facility and getting to know better our partners.
Bellow I am attaching a few taken pictures from that visit in Hillsdale High School The visit was very helpful because it was important to see the project to achieve in person.

The progress of our work including pictures and text is attached in the PDF below.
After the presentation in person on November 2, 2021 the team got a feedback about our progress.
Things to be working on: less wordy slides, more pictures, different color of background, different size and color of text. Attached presentation below.
The PDF below include relevant information from this week such as summary of the status update, peer and partner feedback and also the design log to date.
On November 9, 2021 my team including Cavan, Dylan and myself went to the Hillsdale High School to take detailed measurements, talk with our partner Mr. Emmanuel and also the plant manager. It was really good to have a more time there to be able to think more detailed about the design. Below you will find some pictures from the visit.

Due to the end of quarter, my team finished the project and here is a summary about our accomplishment. We found a local company that builds off the shelf modular rainwater system and thought their design would work well for HHS for this particular location behind the building. Next slide present why we decided for the Blue Barrel System and what are advantages of that system. Also, the cost analysis is presented with and without concrete foundation. Using 16 barrels from the Blue Barrel Systems we were able to design a collection, storage, and pump distribution system that is able to adapt to any location on campus.

Here is our one slide summary about the solution for the problem statement.
